예금자보호법 시행령 제24조의7(고유식별정보의 처리)
Enforcement Decree of the Depositor Protection Act, Article 24-7 (Processing of Unique Identification Information)
①금융위원회(제1호, 제5호 및 제6호의 사무만 해당한다), 금융감독원의 장(제1호의 사무만 해당한다), 공사 또는 정리금융회사(제15호, 제16호 및 제18호의 사무만 해당한다)는 다음 각 호의 사무를 수행하기 위하여 불가피한 경우 「개인정보 보호법 시행령」 제19조에 따른 주민등록번호, 여권번호, 운전면허의 면허번호 또는 외국인등록번호가 포함된 자료를 처리할 수 있다. <개정 2014.8.6, 2016.3.11, 2016.6.21, 2021.6.15, 2022.12.27>
(1) The Financial Services Commission (limited to the affairs under subparagraphs 1, 5, and 6), the Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service (limited to the affairs under subparagraph 1), the Corporation, or a bridge financial company (limited to the affairs under subparagraphs 15, 16, and 18) may process data including resident registration numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers, or foreign registration numbers under Article 19 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act where unavoidable for performing the following affairs:
1. 법 제21조에 따른 부보금융회사에 대한 자료제출요구 등에 관한 사무
1. Affairs concerning requests for submission of data from insured financial companies, etc. under Article 21 of the Act;
2. 법 제21조의2제1항ㆍ제3항ㆍ제4항ㆍ제7항ㆍ제8항에 따른 손해배상청구권의 대위행사 등에 관한 사무
2. Affairs concerning the exercise by subrogation of claims for damages, etc. under Article 21-2 (1), (3), (4), (7), and (8) of the Act;
3. 법 제21조의3제1항(법 제35조의7 및 제35조의8제4항에 따라 준용되는 경우를 포함한다)에 따른 자료제공의 요구에 관한 사무
3. Affairs concerning requests for provision of data under Article 21-3 (1) of the Act (including cases applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 35-7 and Article 35-8 (4) of the Act);
4. 법 제21조의4제1항에 따른 금융거래정보 등의 제공 요구에 관한 사무
4. Affairs concerning requests for provision of financial transaction information, etc. under Article 21-4 (1) of the Act;
5. 법 제27조에 따른 감독 및 이에 따른 사후 조치 등에 관한 사무
5. Affairs concerning supervision under Article 27 of the Act and follow-up measures thereto;
6. 법 제28조에 따른 보고와 검사 및 이에 따른 사후 조치 등에 관한 사무
6. Affairs concerning reporting and examination under Article 28 of the Act and follow-up measures thereto;
6의2. 법 제29조제5항에 따른 조사에 관한 사무

7. 법 제30조에 따른 보험료의 산정 및 수납에 관한 사무

8. 법 제30조의3에 따른 예금보험기금채권상환특별기여금의 산정 및 수납에 관한 사무
8. Affairs concerning calculation and collection of special contributions for repayment of Deposit Insurance Fund bonds under Article 30-3 of the Act;
9. 법 제31조에 따른 보험금 등의 지급에 관한 사무
9. Affairs concerning payment of insurance payments, etc. under Article 31 of the Act;
10. 법 제32조에 따른 보험금의 계산에 관한 사무
10. Affairs concerning calculation of insurance payments under Article 32 of the Act;
11. 법 제35조에 따른 채권의 취득

17. 법 제38조의4에 따른 최소비용원칙의 적용 등을 위한 사무
17. Affairs for applying the principle of least cost, etc. under Article 38-4 of the Act;
18. 법 제38조의6에 따른 경매에 관한 통지 또는 송달에 관한 사무
18. Affairs concerning notification or service relating to auctions under Article 38-6 of the Act;
19. 법 제39조의2 및 제39조의3에 따른 착오송금 반환지원에 관한 사무
19. Affairs concerning support for return of erroneous remittances under Articles 39-2 and 39-3 of the Act.
② 법 제9조, 제11조 및 제15조에 따른 위촉ㆍ추천ㆍ제청ㆍ임면의 권한이 있는 자는 법 제16조에 따른 결격사유 확인에 관한 사무를 수행하기 위하여 불가피한 경우 「개인정보 보호법 시행령」 제19조에 따른 주민등록번호, 여권번호, 운전면허의 면허번호 또는 외국인등록번호가 포함된 자료를 처리할 수 있다. <신설 2014.8.6>
(2) A person having authority to commission, recommend, nominate, appoint, or dismiss under Articles 9, 11, and 15 of the Act may process data including resident registration numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers, or foreign registration numbers under Article 19 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act where unavoidable for performing affairs concerning verification of grounds for disqualification under Article 16 of the Act.
