자율방범대 설치 및 운영에 관한 법률 제6조(자율방범대원의 위촉 및 해촉)

① 경찰서장은 자율방범대장(제4조제1항에 따라 신고하는 경우에는 그 대표자를 포함한다)이 추천한 사람 중에서 제5조제1항에 따른 결격사유가 없는 사람을 자율방범대원으로 위촉할 수 있다.

② 경찰서장은 자율방범대원이 제5조제1항에 따른 결격사유에 해당하거나 이 법 또는 이 법에 따른 명령을 위반하여 지구대장 또는 파출소장이 해촉을 요청한 경우에는 해당 자율방범대원을 해촉하여야 한다.

③ 경찰서장은 자율방범대원 중 제7조에 따른 자율방범활동을 저해할 뚜렷한 사유가 있거나 그 활동을 태만히 하는 사람을 자율방범대장의 의견을 들어 해촉할 수 있다.

④ 그 밖에 자율방범대원의 위촉 및 해촉에 관하여 필요한 사항은 행정안전부령으로 정한다.
