지방자치법 시행령 제34조(의정비심의회의 구성)

① 의정비심의회는 위원장 1명을 포함하여 10명 이내의 위원으로 구성한다.

② 의정비심의회의 위원은 교육계ㆍ법조계ㆍ언론계ㆍ시민사회단체, 통ㆍ리의 장이나 지방의회의 의장 등으로부터 추천을 받아 지방자치단체의 장이 성별을 고려하여 위촉한다. 이 경우 지방자치단체의 장은 위원이 다양하게 구성되도록 하되, 지방의회의 의장의 추천을 받아 위촉하는 위원의 수는 전체 위원 수의 2분의 1 미만이어야 한다. <개정 2024.12.31>

③ 위원이 될 수 있는 사람은 의정비심의회가 구성되는 해의 1월 1일을 기준으로 1년 이전부터 계속하여 해당 지방자치단체의 관할 구역에 주민등록이 되어 있는 18세 이상인 사람으로 한다. 다만, 「공직선거법」 제18조에 따라 선거권이 없는 사람, 그 지방자치단체의 소속 공무원ㆍ의회의원과 그 배우자ㆍ직계존비속ㆍ형제자매는 위원이 될 수 없다.

④ 의정비심의회의 위원장은 위원 중에서 호선한다.

(4) The^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Compensation캄펀세이션 Deliberation딜리버^r레이션 Committee커미티 shall섈 be비 elected일렉티드 from^f프^r럼 among어멍 the^ð더 members멤버즈 by바이 mutual뮤추얼 vote.^v보우트

⑤ 의정비심의회 위원의 임기는 위원으로 위촉된 날부터 1년으로 한다.
