국가통합교통체계효율화법 제16조(개별교통조사의 협의 등)

① 공공기관의 장은 소관 업무를 수행하기 위하여 개별적인 교통조사(이하 "개별교통조사"라 한다)를 하려면 교통조사지침에 맞게 개별교통조사에 관한 계획서(이하 "개별교통조사계획서"라 한다)를 작성하여 국토교통부장관과 미리 협의하여야 한다. 다만, 대통령령으로 정하는 경미한 개별교통조사의 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2013.3.23>

② 국토교통부장관은 개별교통조사계획서가 국가교통조사나 그 밖의 다른 교통조사와 중복되는 등 효율적인 교통조사를 해친다고 인정되는 경우에는 해당 공공기관의 장에게 이를 개선하기 위한 조치를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 공공기관의 장은 특별한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

③ 공공기관의 장은 개별교통조사를 완료하였을 때에는 완료한 날부터 30일 이내에 국토교통부장관에게 그 결과를 통보하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

④ 개별교통조사계획서에 포함되어야 할 사항 및 그 제출시기와 국토교통부장관과의 협의 등에 필요한 사항은 국토교통부령으로 정한다. <개정 2013.3.23>
