관세법 시행령 제251조(통관물품에 대한 검사)

①세관장은 법 제241조제3항의 규정에 의한 신고를 하지 아니한 물품에 대하여는 관세청장이 정하는 바에 의하여 직권으로 이를 검사할 수 있다.

②세관장은 법 제241조제1항의 신고인이 제1항의 규정에 의한 검사에 참여할 것을 신청하거나 신고인의 참여가 필요하다고 인정하는 때에는 그 일시ㆍ장소ㆍ방법 등을 정하여 검사에 참여할 것을 통지할 수 있다.
