실종아동등의 보호 및 지원에 관한 법률 제9조의2(실종아동등 발견을 위한 정보 제공 요청 등)

① 경찰관서의 장은 실종아동등의 조속한 발견을 위하여 필요한 때에는 관계 중앙행정기관(그 소속기관 및 책임운영기관을 포함한다)의 장, 지방자치단체의 장(「지방교육자치에 관한 법률」 제18조에 따른 교육감을 포함한다), 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 제4조에 따른 공공기관의 장, 법인ㆍ단체의 장 및 개인에 대하여 실종아동등의 위치 확인에 필요한 다음 각 호의 정보 제공을 요청할 수 있으며, 요청을 받은 자는 정당한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다.

② 경찰관서의 장과 경찰관서에 종사하거나 종사하였던 자는 제1항에 따라 제공받은 정보를 실종아동등을 찾기 위한 목적 외의 용도로 이용하여서는 아니 되며, 경찰관서의 장은 목적을 달성하였을 때에는 지체 없이 파기하여야 한다.

③ 경찰관서의 장은 제1항에 따라 정보가 수집된 실종아동등의 보호자에게 다음 각 호의 사실을 통지하여야 한다.

④ 제1항에 따른 정보 제공 요청 방법, 제2항에 따른 정보에 대한 파기 방법 및 제3항에 따른 통지의 방법에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
