Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Operation of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, Article 33 (Qualifications of Members of Citizens' Grievance Resolution Committees, etc.)

① 시민고충처리위원회 위원은 고충민원 처리업무를 공정하고 독립적으로 수행할 수 있다고 인정되는 자로서 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 자 중에서 지방자치단체의 장이 지방의회의 동의를 거쳐 위촉한다.

② 시민고충처리위원회 위원의 임기는 4년으로 하되, 연임할 수 없다.

③ 지방자치단체의 장은 시민고충처리위원회 위원의 임기가 만료되거나 임기 중 결원된 경우에는 임기만료 또는 결원된 날부터 30일 이내에 후임자를 위촉하여야 한다.
