National Integrated Transport System Efficiency Act, Article 98 (Promotion of Transport Technology Research and Development Projects)

① 국토교통부장관은 교통기술의 연구ㆍ개발을 효율적으로 추진하기 위하여 연도별ㆍ분야별 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발과제를 선정하여 다음 각 호의 기관 또는 단체 등과 협약을 맺어 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업을 하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2011.3.9, 2013.3.23, 2016.3.22, 2020.6.9, 2025.1.31>

② 국토교통부장관은 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업을 효율적으로 추진하기 위하여 필요한 경우에는 분야별 전담기관을 지정하고 협약을 맺어 그 기관으로 하여금 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업의 기획ㆍ평가 및 관리 등의 업무를 담당하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>

③ 제1항에 따른 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업에 필요한 비용과 제2항에 따른 기획ㆍ평가 및 관리 등의 업무를 담당하는 비용은 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 협약으로 정하는 바에 따라 정부 또는 정부 외의 자의 출연금과 그 밖에 기업의 기술개발비로 충당한다.

④ 국토교통부장관은 매년 제2항에 따른 분야별 전담기관의 장이 담당하는 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업에 대하여 조사ㆍ분석 및 평가(이하 "평가등"이라 한다)를 하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

⑤ 제2항에 따른 분야별 전담기관은 평가등의 결과를 반영하여 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업을 추진하여야 한다.

⑥ 국토교통부장관은 교통기술 연구ㆍ개발사업의 평가 등을 하기 위하여 제2항에 따른 분야별 전담기관에 대하여 필요한 자료의 제출을 요구할 수 있다. 이 경우 분야별 전담기관은 특별한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>
