공직선거법 제59조(선거운동기간)

1. 제60조의3(예비후보자 등의 선거운동)제1항 및 제2항의 규정에 따라 예비후보자 등이 선거운동을 하는 경우

2. 문자메시지를 전송하는 방법으로 선거운동을 하는 경우. 이 경우 자동 동보통신의 방법(동시 수신대상자가 20명을 초과하거나 그 대상자가 20명 이하인 경우에도 프로그램을 이용하여 수신자를 자동으로 선택하여 전송하는 방식을 말한다. 이하 같다)으로 전송할 수 있는 자는 후보자와 예비후보자에 한하되, 그 횟수는 8회(후보자의 경우 예비후보자로서 전송한 횟수를 포함한다)를 넘을 수 없으며, 중앙선거관리위원회규칙에 따라 신고한 1개의 전화번호만을 사용하여야 한다.

3. 인터넷 홈페이지 또는 그 게시판ㆍ대화방 등에 글이나 동영상 등을 게시하거나 전자우편(컴퓨터 이용자끼리 네트워크를 통하여 문자ㆍ음성ㆍ화상 또는 동영상 등의 정보를 주고받는 통신시스템을 말한다. 이하 같다)을 전송하는 방법으로 선거운동을 하는 경우. 이 경우 전자우편 전송대행업체에 위탁하여 전자우편을 전송할 수 있는 사람은 후보자와 예비후보자에 한한다.

4. 선거일이 아닌 때에 전화(송ㆍ수화자 간 직접 통화하는 방식에 한정하며, 컴퓨터를 이용한 자동 송신장치를 설치한 전화는 제외한다)를 이용하거나 말(확성장치를 사용하거나 옥외집회에서 다중을 대상으로 하는 경우를 제외한다)로 선거운동을 하는 경우

5. 후보자가 되려는 사람이 선거일 전 180일(대통령선거의 경우 선거일 전 240일을 말한다)부터 해당 선거의 예비후보자등록신청 전까지 제60조의3제1항제2호의 방법(같은 호 단서를 포함한다)으로 자신의 명함을 직접 주는 경우
