환경정책기본법 제27조(국제협력 및 지구환경보전)
Framework Act on Environmental Policy, Article 27 (International Cooperation and Conservation of the Global Environment)
국가 및 지방자치단체는 지구 전체의 환경에 영향을 미치는 기후변화, 오존층의 파괴, 해양오염, 사막화 및 생물자원의 감소 등으로부터 지구의 환경을 보전하고, 미세먼지ㆍ초미세먼지 등 대기오염물질의 장거리이동을 통하여 발생하는 피해를 방지하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 국제적인 노력에 적극 참여하여야 한다. <개정 2019.11.26>
The State and local governments shall actively participate in the following international efforts in order to conserve the global environment from climate change, ozone layer depletion, marine pollution, desertification, and the reduction of biological resources that affect the environment of the entire globe, and to prevent damage arising from the long-range transport of air pollutants such as fine dust and ultrafine dust:
1. 지구환경의 감시ㆍ관측 및 보호에 관한 상호 협력
1. Mutual cooperation on the monitoring, observation, and protection of the global environment;
2. 대기오염 등 환경오염으로 인한 피해를 줄이기 위한 국가 간 또는 국제기구와의 협력
2. Cooperation among countries or with international organizations to reduce damage caused by environmental pollution, such as air pollution;
3. 환경 정보ㆍ기술 교류 및 전문인력 양성
3. Exchange of environmental information and technology and training of professional personnel;
4. 그 밖에 지구환경보전을 위하여 필요한 사항
4. Other matters necessary for conserving the global environment.
