해양과학조사법 제13조(불법 조사)

① 관계 기관의 장은 외국인등이 제6조부터 제8조까지의 규정에 따른 허가나 동의를 받지 아니하고 해양과학조사를 실시한다고 의심되는 경우에는 정선(停船)ㆍ검색ㆍ나포(拿捕)하거나 그 밖에 필요한 명령이나 조치를 할 수 있다.

② 관계 기관의 장은 제1항에 따라 정선ㆍ검색ㆍ나포하거나 그 밖에 필요한 명령이나 조치를 하였을 때에는 즉시 그 사실을 해양수산부장관에게 통보하여야 한다.
