해상교통안전법 제24조(항행장애물의 보고 등)

① 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 항행장애물을 발생시킨 선박의 선장, 선박소유자 또는 선박운항자(이하 "항행장애물제거책임자"라 한다)는 해양수산부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 해양수산부장관에게 지체 없이 그 항행장애물의 위치와 제26조에 따른 위험성 등을 보고하여야 한다.

② 대한민국선박이 외국의 배타적경제수역에서 항행장애물을 발생시켰을 경우 항행장애물제거책임자는 그 해역을 관할하는 외국 정부에 지체 없이 보고하여야 한다.

③ 제1항의 보고를 받은 해양수산부장관은 항행장애물 주변을 항행하는 선박과 인접 국가의 정부에 항행장애물의 위치와 내용 등을 알려야 한다.
