위원회는 보상금등의 지급신청을 받은 날부터 5월 이내에 그 지급여부와 금액을 결정하여야 한다. 다만, 이 기간 이내에 결정할 수 없는 상당한 이유가 있는 경우에는 그러하지 아니한다.
