통합방위법 제10조(합동보도본부 등)

① 작전지휘관은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 언론기관의 취재 활동을 지원하여야 한다.

② 작전지휘관은 통합방위 진행 상황 및 대국민 협조사항 등을 알리기 위하여 필요하면 합동보도본부를 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다.

③ 통합방위작전을 수행할 때에 병력 또는 장비의 이동ㆍ배치ㆍ성능이나 작전계획에 관련된 사항은 공개하지 아니한다. 다만, 통합방위작전의 수행에 지장을 주지 아니하는 범위에서 국민이나 지역 주민에게 알릴 필요가 있는 사항은 그러하지 아니하다.
