통합방위법 제9조의2(정보센터 및 합동정보조사팀의 운영)

① 정부 각 기관의 대공(對共)정보업무를 조정ㆍ분담하고, 적의 침투ㆍ도발 및 적의 정황에 관한 첩보를 수집하며, 정보를 판단하여 지역 작전부대를 지원하기 위하여 국가정보원ㆍ군ㆍ경찰ㆍ지방자치단체 등으로 구성된 지역단위의 정보센터를 비상설 기구로 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다.

② 적의 부대나 요원의 출현, 그 밖의 대공혐의 상황이 발생하였을 때에는 현지의 상황을 조사ㆍ분석하고, 체포된 포로에 대하여 일차적으로 신문(訊問)하기 위하여 국가정보원ㆍ군ㆍ경찰 등 관계 기관 정보원으로 구성된 합동정보조사팀을 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다.
