지식재산 기본법 제33조(지식재산 교육 강화)

① 정부는 국민의 지식재산에 대한 인식과 지식재산 창출 및 활용 역량을 높이기 위하여 지식재산에 관한 교육을 강화하여야 한다.

② 정부는 「초ㆍ중등교육법」 제2조 및 「고등교육법」 제2조에 따른 학교의 정규 교육과정에 지식재산에 관한 내용이 반영되도록 하여야 한다.

③ 정부는 지식재산에 특성화된 학교를 육성하고, 지식재산 관련 학과나 강좌가 개설될 수 있도록 하여야 한다.

④ 정부는 「평생교육법」 제2조에 따른 평생교육기관의 교육과정에 지식재산에 관한 이해와 관심을 넓힐 수 있는 내용이 포함될 수 있도록 하여야 한다.
