Enforcement Rule of the Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Article 2-3 (Designation of Awareness Improvement Education Institutions)

① 보건복지부장관은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 기관ㆍ법인ㆍ시설ㆍ단체를 법 제25조의2제1항에 따른 인식개선교육기관(이하 "인식개선교육기관"이라 한다)으로 지정할 수 있다.

1. 법 제58조에 따른 장애인복지시설로서 장애인에 대한 사회적 인식개선 사업을 수행하는 시설

5. 그 밖에 보건복지부장관이 인식개선교육의 실시에 적합하다고 인정하는 기관ㆍ법인ㆍ시설ㆍ단체

② 보건복지부장관은 인식개선교육기관을 지정하려는 경우에는 인식개선교육기관의 지정계획을 수립하여 보건복지부의 홈페이지에 20일 이상 공고해야 한다.

③ 제2항에 따라 인식개선교육기관으로 지정받으려는 자는 별지 제1호서식의 인식개선교육기관 지정 신청서에 다음 각 호의 서류를 첨부하여 법 제29조의2제1항에 따른 한국장애인개발원의 장(이하 "한국장애인개발원장"이라 한다)에게 제출해야 한다.

④ 보건복지부장관은 다음 각 호의 사항을 고려하여 인식개선교육기관을 지정해야 한다.

⑤ 한국장애인개발원장은 제3항에 따른 신청서를 접수한 날부터 20일 이내에 제4항에 따라 보건복지부장관이 인식개선교육기관으로 지정한 기관에 별지 제1호의2서식의 인식개선교육기관 지정서를 발급해야 한다.

⑥ 제5항에 따라 인식개선교육기관 지정서를 발급받은 자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우, 별지 제1호의3서식의 인식개선교육기관 지정서 재발급 신청서에 증명자료를 첨부하여 한국장애인개발원장에게 인식개선교육기관 지정서의 재발급을 신청할 수 있다.
