유아교육법 시행령 제14조(휴업일 등)

① 법 제12조제3항에 따라 유치원의 휴업일은 원장이 매 학년도가 시작되기 전에 법 제19조의3제1항에 따른 유치원운영위원회(이하 "운영위원회"라 한다)의 심의 또는 자문을 거쳐 정하며, 토요일, 관공서의 공휴일(「관공서의 공휴일에 관한 규정」 제2조에 따른 관공서의 공휴일을 말한다. 이하 같다) 및 여름ㆍ겨울 휴가가 포함되어야 한다. 다만, 「관공서의 공휴일에 관한 규정」 제2조제11호에 따른 공휴일이 지정된 것을 반영하여 휴업일을 다시 정하는 경우에는 운영위원회의 심의 또는 자문을 거치지 않을 수 있다. <개정 2022.11.22, 2026.4.14>

② 원장은 비상재해나 그 밖의 급박한 사정이 발생한 경우에는 임시휴업을 할 수 있다. 이 경우 원장은 지체 없이 관할청에 이를 보고하여야 한다.

③ 제1항에도 불구하고 원장은 운영위원회의 심의 또는 자문을 거쳐 토요일 또는 관공서의 공휴일에 유치원 행사를 개최할 수 있다. <신설 2022.11.22, 2026.4.14>

④ 원장은 제3항에 따라 유치원 행사가 개최되는 날을 제12조제1항에 따른 수업일수에 포함할 수 있으며, 그 수업일수만큼 제1항에 따른 휴업일을 별도로 정해야 한다. <신설 2022.11.22>
