위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률 시행령 제26조(사업의 양도 등의 통지)

① 위치정보사업자등은 법 제22조에 따라 개인위치정보주체에게 사업의 양도ㆍ합병 또는 상속 등을 통지하는 경우 다음 각 호의 조치를 모두 취하여야 한다.

② 제1항제1호에 따른 통지는 위치정보사업자등이 과실없이 개인위치정보주체의 연락처를 알지 못하거나 천재지변, 그 밖의 부득이한 사유가 있는 경우에는 「신문 등의 진흥에 관한 법률」 제9조제1항에 따른 전국을 보급지역으로 하는 2 이상의 일반일간신문(개인위치정보주체의 대부분이 특정지역에 거주하는 경우에는 그 지역을 보급구역으로 하는 일간지를 포함한다)에 1회 이상 공고하는 것으로 갈음할 수 있다. <개정 2010.1.27>

③ 법 제22조제3호에서 "대통령령이 정하는 사항"이란 다음 각 호의 사항을 말한다.
