원자력 손해배상법 제7조(원자력손해배상 책임보험계약)

① 제5조제2항에서 "원자력손해배상 책임보험계약"이란 제3조에 따라 원자력사업자에게 손해배상책임이 생겼을 때에 일정한 사유로 인한 원자력손해를 배상함으로써 생기는 손실을 보험자(「보험업법」에 따라 책임보험을 경영할 수 있는 자로 한정한다)가 보전(補塡)할 것을 약정하고, 보험계약자는 보험자에게 보험료를 지급할 것을 약정하는 계약을 말한다.

② 원자력사업자는 원자력손해배상 책임보험계약을 체결할 때 그 계약조건에 관하여 원자력안전위원회의 승인을 받아야 한다.
