어린이 식생활안전관리 특별법 제21조(어린이급식관리지원센터의 설치ㆍ운영)

① 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 어린이에게 단체급식을 제공하는 다음 각 호의 급식소(이하 "급식소"라 한다)에 대한 위생 및 영양관리를 지원하기 위하여 어린이급식관리지원센터를 설치ㆍ운영하여야 한다. 다만, 효율적인 지원을 위하여 필요한 경우에는 시ㆍ도지사가 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장을 대신하거나 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장이 연합하여 공동으로 어린이급식관리지원센터를 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다. <개정 2011.6.7, 2014.1.28, 2020.12.29>

③ 제1항에 따른 어린이급식관리지원센터는 법인으로 하거나 대통령령으로 정하는 식품 관련 기관 또는 단체에 운영을 위탁할 수 있고, 「학교급식법」 제5조제4항에 따른 학교급식지원센터와 통합ㆍ운영할 수 있다. <개정 2011.3.30, 2014.1.28, 2023.8.8>

④ 제1항에 따라 어린이급식관리지원센터에 근무하는 영양사와 위생 업무 담당자의 수, 그 직무범위 및 그 밖의 설치ㆍ운영에 관한 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2014.1.28>

⑤ 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 제1항에 따라 어린이급식관리지원센터의 설치ㆍ운영 등에 필요한 비용의 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 보조하거나 「식품위생법」 제89조에 따른 식품진흥기금에서 지원할 수 있다. <개정 2009.2.6, 2014.1.28, 2023.8.8>
