산업입지 및 개발에 관한 법률 제2조(정의)

1. "공장"이란 「산업집적활성화 및 공장설립에 관한 법률」 제2조제1호에 따른 공장을 말한다.

2. "지식산업"이란 컴퓨터소프트웨어개발업ㆍ연구개발업ㆍ엔지니어링서비스업 등 전문 분야의 지식을 기반으로 하여 창의적 정신활동에 의하여 고부가가치의 지식서비스를 창출하는 데에 이바지할 수 있는 산업을 말한다.

3. "문화산업"이란 「문화산업진흥 기본법」 제2조제1호에 따른 문화산업을 말한다.

7. "물류시설"이란 「물류시설의 개발 및 운영에 관한 법률」 제2조제1호에 따른 시설(물류단지는 제외한다)을 말한다.

7의2. "산업시설용지"란 공장, 지식산업 관련 시설, 문화산업 관련 시설, 정보통신산업 관련 시설, 재활용산업 관련 시설, 자원비축시설, 물류시설, 교육ㆍ연구시설 및 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 시설의 용지를 말한다.

7의3. "복합용지"란 제7호의2와 제9호나목부터 자목까지의 시설을 하나의 용지에 일부 또는 전부를 설치하기 위한 용지를 말한다.

8. "산업단지"란 제7호의2에 따른 시설과 이와 관련된 교육ㆍ연구ㆍ업무ㆍ지원ㆍ정보처리ㆍ유통 시설 및 이들 시설의 기능 향상을 위하여 주거ㆍ문화ㆍ환경ㆍ공원녹지ㆍ의료ㆍ관광ㆍ체육ㆍ복지 시설 등을 집단적으로 설치하기 위하여 포괄적 계획에 따라 지정ㆍ개발되는 일단(一團)의 토지로서 다음 각 목의 것을 말한다.

9. "산업단지개발사업"이란 산업단지를 조성하기 위하여 시행하는 다음 각 목의 사업을 말한다.

10. "산업단지 재생사업지구"(이하 "재생사업지구"라 한다)란 제39조의2 및 제39조의3에 따라 산업기능의 활성화를 위하여 산업단지 또는 공업지역(「국토의 계획 및 이용에 관한 법률」 제36조제1항제1호다목에 해당하는 공업지역을 말한다. 이하 같다) 및 산업단지 또는 공업지역의 주변 지역에 지정ㆍ고시되는 지구를 말한다.

12. "준산업단지"란 도시 또는 도시 주변의 특정 지역에 입지하는 개별 공장들의 밀집도가 다른 지역에 비하여 높아 포괄적 계획에 따라 계획적 관리가 필요하여 제8조의3에 따라 지정된 일단의 토지 및 시설물을 말한다.
