산림보호법 제21조의16(나무의사 등의 경력증명서 발급 등)

① 나무의사 등이 나무병원에 종사한 경력 등을 인정받으려면 근무처ㆍ경력 및 자격 등(이하 "경력등"이라 한다) 농림축산식품부령으로 정하는 사항을 산림청장에게 신고하여야 한다. 신고사항이 변경된 경우에도 또한 같다.

② 산림청장은 제1항에 따라 신고를 받은 경우에는 나무의사 등의 경력등에 관한 내용을 수목진료정보체계에 등재하여야 하며, 나무의사 등이 신청하는 경우에는 신청한 나무의사 등의 경력등에 관한 증명서(이하 "수목진료경력증명서"라 한다)를 발급하여야 한다.

③ 산림청장은 제1항에 따라 신고받은 내용을 확인하기 위하여 제21조의15제3항을 준용하여 정보 또는 자료의 제공을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 자는 특별한 사유가 없으면 그 요청에 따라야 한다.

④ 나무의사 등은 제1항에 따른 신고 또는 변경신고를 할 때 경력등을 거짓이나 그 밖의 부정한 방법으로 신고하여서는 아니 된다.

⑤ 산림청장은 나무의사 등이 거짓이나 그 밖의 부정한 방법으로 제1항에 따른 신고 또는 변경신고를 한 경우에는 해당 신고 또는 변경신고의 효력상실 처분을 하여야 한다.

⑥ 제2항에 따른 나무의사 등의 수목진료경력증명서의 발급 절차 및 관리, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 농림축산식품부령으로 정한다.
