Act on Promotion and Advancement of Root Industries, Article 15 (Designation and Support of Root Technology Specialized Enterprises)

① 산업통상부장관은 뿌리기술의 육성 및 관련 산업의 발전을 촉진하기 위하여 제14조제1항에 따라 지정된 핵심 뿌리기술을 보유하고 다음 각 호의 요건을 모두 갖춘 기업을 뿌리기술 전문기업으로 지정하고 이를 지원할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2020.12.29, 2025.10.1>

1. 총 매출액 중 뿌리기술을 이용한 사업의 매출액이 대통령령으로 정하는 기준에 해당하는 기업

② 산업통상부장관은 제1항에 따른 지원사업을 추진하는 기관 또는 단체에 필요한 비용을 출연 또는 보조할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

③ 정부는 「병역법」 제36조제1항에 따른 전문연구요원이 종사할 병역지정업체의 선정에 있어 뿌리기술 전문기업을 우대할 수 있다. <개정 2016.5.29>
