보안관찰법 제18조(신고사항)

①보안관찰처분을 받은 자(이하 "被保安觀察者"라 한다)는 보안관찰처분결정고지를 받은 날부터 7일 이내에 다음 각호의 사항을 주거지를 관할하는 지구대 또는 파출소의 장(이하 "지구대ㆍ파출소장"이라 한다)을 거쳐 관할경찰서장에게 신고하여야 한다. 제20조제3항에 해당하는 경우에는 법무부장관이 제공하는 거소를 주거지로 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2004.12.23, 2007.5.17>

②피보안관찰자는 보안관찰처분결정고지를 받은 날이 속한 달부터 매3월이 되는 달의 말일까지 다음 각호의 사항을 지구대ㆍ파출소장을 거쳐 관할경찰서장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2004.12.23>

③피보안관찰자는 제1항의 신고사항에 변동이 있을 때에는 7일 이내에 지구대ㆍ파출소장을 거쳐 관할경찰서장에게 신고하여야 한다. 피보안관찰자가 제1항의 신고를 한 후 제20조제3항에 의하여 거소제공을 받거나 제20조제5항에 의하여 거소가 변경된 때에는 제공 또는 변경된 거소로 이전한 후 7일 이내에 지구대ㆍ파출소장을 거쳐 관할경찰서장에게 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2004.12.23>

④피보안관찰자가 주거지를 이전하거나 국외여행 또는 10일 이상 주거를 이탈하여 여행하고자 할 때에는 미리 거주예정지, 여행예정지 기타 대통령령이 정하는 사항을 지구대ㆍ파출소장을 거쳐 관할경찰서장에게 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 제20조제3항에 의하여 거소제공을 받은 자가 주거지를 이전하고자 할 때에는 제20조제5항에 의하여 거소변경을 신청하여 변경결정된 거소를 거주예정지로 신고하여야 한다. <개정 2004.12.23>

⑤관할경찰서장은 제1항 내지 제4항의 규정에 의한 신고를 받은 때에는 신고필증을 교부하여야 한다.
