변리사법 제18조(자격정지처분)

① 지식재산처장은 위원회에 징계 요구된 변리사가 제5조의3제2호 또는 제3호에 따라 이미 등록이 취소된 경우에는 위원회의 의결에 따라 5년 이내의 기간을 정하여 자격정지를 명할 수 있다. <개정 2013.7.30, 2025.10.1>

② 제1항에 따른 자격정지처분은 그 사유가 발생한 날부터 3년이 지나면 할 수 없다. <개정 2013.7.30>
