발명진흥법 제55조의2(한국지식재산보호원의 설립)

① 지식재산 보호에 관한 지원 사업을 하기 위하여 한국지식재산보호원(이하 "보호원"이라 한다)을 설립한다.

(1) The^ð더 Korea코^r리아 Intellectual인털렉추얼 Property프^r라퍼티 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency에이전시 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð더 "Protection프^r러텍션 Agency")에이전시 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 to투 carry캐^r리 out아웃 support서포트 projects프^r라젝츠 concerning컨서닝 the^ð더 protection프^r러텍션 of어^v브 intellectual인털렉추얼 property.프^r라퍼티

② 보호원은 법인으로 한다.

(2) The^ð더 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency에이전시 shall섈 be비 a어 corporation.코퍼^r레이션

③ 보호원은 그 주된 사무소의 소재지에서 설립등기를 함으로써 성립한다.

(3) The^ð더 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency에이전시 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 upon어판 registration^r레지스트^r레이션 of어^v브 its잇츠 establishment이스태블리시먼트 at앳 the^ð더 location로케이션 of어^v브 its잇츠 principal프^r린서플 office.오^f피스

④ 보호원이 아닌 자는 한국지식재산보호원의 명칭을 사용하지 못한다.

(4) A어 person퍼슨 other어^ð더 than^ð댄 the^ð더 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency에이전시 shall섈 not낫 use유스 the^ð더 name네임 of어^v브 the^ð더 Korea코^r리아 Intellectual인털렉추얼 Property프^r라퍼티 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency.에이전시

⑤ 보호원에 관하여 이 법에 규정한 것 외에는 「민법」 중 재단법인에 관한 규정을 준용한다.

(5) Except익셉트 as애즈 provided프^r러^v바이디드 in인 this^ð디스 Act,액트 the^ð더 provisions프^r러^v비전즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Civil시^v블 Act액트 on안 incorporated인코퍼^r레이티드 foundations^f파운데이션즈 shall섈 apply어플라이 mutatis뮤타티즈 mutandis뮤탠디즈 to투 the^ð더 Protection프^r러텍션 Agency.에이전시
