도시교통정비 촉진법 제34조의2(승용차부제)

① 시장은 도시교통의 원활한 소통과 대기오염의 개선을 위하여 관할하는 전체지역 또는 일부지역에서 주민이 스스로 정한 요일 등 특정한 날에 승용자동차를 운행하지 아니하는 시민실천운동(이하"승용차부제"라한다)을 장려할 수 있다.

② 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 승용차부제에 참여하는 주민 또는 참여주민에게 혜택을 제공하는 등 승용차부제 활성화에 기여하는 사업자에 대하여 필요한 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원을 할 수 있다.

③ 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 제2항에 따라 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원을 하는 경우에는 승용차부제에 참여하는 주민의 준수 여부를 확인하기 위하여 「도로교통법」 제4조의2에 따른 무인 교통단속용 장비를 활용할 수 있다. <신설 2015.7.24>
