Enforcement Decree of the Weather Service Act, Article 23-2 (Entrustment of Affairs)

① 기상청장은 법 제44조제2항에 따라 다음 각 호의 업무를 「기상산업진흥법」 제17조에 따른 한국기상산업기술원에 위탁한다.

1. 법 제7조에 따른 기상관측망의 구축에 필요한 기상관측장비 구매ㆍ설치와 유지ㆍ보수에 관한 업무(기상청장이 고시하는 기상관측망으로 한정한다)

② 기상청장은 법 제44조제2항에 따라 법 제33조제1항제3호에 따른 기상업무에 관한 정보와 기술의 교환을 위한 업무 중 수치모델 분야의 공적개발원조 사업에 관한 업무를 법 제17조의5에 따른 한국수치모델개발원에 위탁한다.

③ 기상청장은 법 제44조제2항에 따라 법 제33조제1항제3호에 따른 기상업무에 관한 정보와 기술의 교환을 위한 업무 중 기후 분야의 공적개발원조 사업에 관한 업무를 「기후ㆍ기후변화 감시 및 예측 등에 관한 법률」 제20조에 따른 아시아ㆍ태평양경제협력체 기후센터에 위탁한다.

④ 기상청장은 법 제44조제2항에 따라 다음 각 호의 업무를 제5항 각 호의 자에게 위탁할 수 있다. 이 경우 기상청장은 제5항 각 호의 자에게 위탁하는 업무의 구분, 그 업무를 위탁받은 자의 명칭과 처리방법 및 그 밖에 필요한 사항을 고시해야 한다.

⑥ 제1항부터 제3항까지의 규정에 따라 업무를 위탁받은 자는 기상청장의 승인을 받아 위탁받은 업무의 일부를 제5항 각 호의 자에게 재위탁할 수 있다. 이 경우 기상청장은 재위탁하는 업무의 내용과 그 업무를 재위탁받은 자의 명칭을 고시해야 한다.
