금융위원회의 설치 등에 관한 법률 제4조(금융위원회의 구성)

① 금융위원회는 9명의 위원으로 구성하며, 위원장ㆍ부위원장 각 1명과 다음 각 호의 위원으로 구성한다. <개정 2025.10.1>

(1) The^ð더 Financial^f퍼낸실 Services서^v버시즈 Commission커미션 shall섈 consist컨시스트 of어^v브 nine나인 members,멤버즈 comprising컴프^r라이징 one원 Chairperson,체어퍼슨 one원 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson,체어퍼슨 and앤드 the^ð더 following^f팔로잉 members:멤버즈

② 금융위원회 위원장(이하 이 절과 제2절에서 "위원장"이라 한다)은 국무총리의 제청으로 대통령이 임명하며, 금융위원회 부위원장(이하 이 절과 제2절에서 "부위원장"이라 한다)은 위원장의 제청으로 대통령이 임명한다. 이 경우 위원장은 국회의 인사청문을 거쳐야 한다.

(2) The^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Financial^f퍼낸실 Services서^v버시즈 Commission커미션 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 in인 this^ð디스 Section섹션 and앤드 Section섹션 2, the^ð더 "Chairperson")체어퍼슨 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 by바이 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 on안 the^ð더 recommendation^r레커먼데이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Prime프^r라임 Minister,미너스터 and앤드 the^ð더 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson체어퍼슨 of어^v브 the^ð더 Financial^f퍼낸실 Services서^v버시즈 Commission커미션 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 in인 this^ð디스 Section섹션 and앤드 Section섹션 2, the^ð더 "Vice^v바이스 Chairperson")체어퍼슨 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 by바이 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 on안 the^ð더 recommendation^r레커먼데이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Chairperson.체어퍼슨 In인 such서치 cases,케이시즈 the^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 undergo언더고우 a어 confirmation칸^f퍼메이션 hearing히^r링 by바이 the^ð더 National내셔늘 Assembly.어셈블리

③ 제1항제5호 및 제6호의 위원은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 해당 기관의 추천을 받아 대통령이 임명한다.

(3) The^ð더 members멤버즈 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1) 5 and앤드 6 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 by바이 the^ð더 President프^r레저덴트 upon어판 recommendation^r레커먼데이션 by바이 the^ð더 relevant^r렐러^v번트 institutions,인스티투션즈 as애즈 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 Presidential프^r레저덴실 Decree.디크^r리

④ 위원장과 부위원장은 정무직으로 하고, 제1항제5호의 위원은 고위공무원단에 속하는 일반직공무원으로서 「국가공무원법」 제26조의5에 따른 임기제공무원으로 임명하며, 제1항제6호의 위원은 비상임으로 한다. <개정 2018.12.24>

(4) The^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 and앤드 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson체어퍼슨 shall섈 hold호울드 political펄리터클 positions;퍼지션즈 the^ð더 members멤버즈 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1) 5 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 as애즈 fixed-term^f픽스트-텀 public퍼블릭 officials어^f피실즈 under언더 Article아터클 26-5 of어^v브 the^ð더 State스테잇 Public퍼블릭 Officials어^f피실즈 Act,액트 being비잉 general제너^r럴 service서^v비스 public퍼블릭 officials어^f피실즈 belonging빌롱잉 to투 the^ð더 Senior시니어 Civil시^v블 Service;서^v비스 and앤드 the^ð더 member멤버 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1) 6 shall섈 be비 non-standing.난-스탠딩

⑤ 위원장, 부위원장, 제1항제5호의 위원 및 제15조에 따른 사무처의 장은 「정부조직법」 제10조에도 불구하고 정부위원이 된다.

(5) Notwithstanding낫위^ð드스탠딩 Article아터클 10 of어^v브 the^ð더 Government거^v버먼트 Organization오거너제이션 Act,액트 the^ð더 Chairperson,체어퍼슨 the^ð더 Vice^v바이스 Chairperson,체어퍼슨 the^ð더 members멤버즈 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1) 5, and앤드 the^ð더 head헤드 of어^v브 the^ð더 Secretariat세크^r리테^r리엇 under언더 Article아터클 15 shall섈 be비 government거^v버먼트 members.멤버즈

⑥ 위원장은 국무회의에 출석하여 발언할 수 있다.

(6) The^ð더 Chairperson체어퍼슨 may메이 attend어텐드 and앤드 speak스픽 at앳 meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 State스테잇 Council.카운슬
