군 책임운영기관의 지정ㆍ운영에 관한 법률 제19조(임용시험)

① 군 책임운영기관 소속 군무원의 임용시험은 기관장이 실시한다. 다만, 기관장이 단독으로 실시하기 곤란한 경우에는 국방부장관이나 참모총장이 실시하거나 다른 기관장과 공동으로 실시할 수 있다.

② 채용시험을 실시할 때에는 임용예정 직급, 응시자격, 선발예정인원, 시험방법, 시기 및 장소, 그 밖에 필요한 사항을 대통령령으로 정하는 기간 이상 공고하여야 한다. 다만, 일반군무원의 공개경쟁채용시험 외에는 경쟁의 원칙에 위배되지 아니하는 범위에서 대통령령으로 정하는 경우에는 채용시험의 공고를 하지 아니할 수 있다. <개정 2011.5.19, 2016.12.20>

③ 채용시험에 응시하기 위한 학력, 경력, 연령, 그 밖에 필요한 자격요건은 대통령령으로 정하고, 시험과목과 시험방법에 관한 사항은 기본운영규정으로 정한다. <개정 2011.5.19>

④ 전직(轉職)시험의 시험과목, 시험방법, 그 밖에 전직시험의 실시에 필요한 사항은 기본운영규정으로 정한다.
