Military Court Act, Article 204-2 (Accompaniment by a Person in a Relationship of Trust)
(1) When examining the victim of a crime as a witness, a military court may, on its own authority or upon application by the victim, the statutory agent, or a military prosecutor, allow a person in a relationship of trust with the victim to accompany the victim where, considering the witness's age, mental and physical condition, and other circumstances, it finds that the witness is likely to feel significant anxiety or tension.
(2) A military court shall allow a person in a relationship of trust with the victim to accompany the victim where the victim of the crime is under 13 years of age or has a weak ability to discern things or make decisions due to a physical or mental disability, unless unavoidable, such as where there is concern of hindering the trial.
(3) A person who accompanies a victim under paragraph (1) or (2) shall not obstruct the examination by the military court or persons concerned in the proceedings or the witness's statement, or engage in conduct that may unduly influence the content of the statement.
(4) The scope of persons in a relationship of trust who may accompany a victim under paragraph (1) or (2), and the procedures and methods for accompaniment and other necessary matters, shall be prescribed by Supreme Court Rules.
