Act on the Establishment and Operation of Seoul National University as a National University Corporation, Article 17 (Academic affairs committee)

① 국립대학법인 서울대학교에 교육과 연구에 관한 다음 각 호의 사항을 심의하기 위하여 학사위원회를 둔다.

1. 제32조에 따른 연도별 대학운영계획 중 교육 및 연구와 관련된 사항

6. 그 밖에 총장 또는 이사회가 교육 및 연구와 관련하여 심의를 요구하는 사항

② 학사위원회는 총장과 국립대학법인 서울대학교 교원 중 25명 이상 35명 이하로 구성하되, 그 구성에 관한 구체적인 사항은 정관으로 정한다.

(2) The^ð디 academic애커데믹 affairs어^f페어즈 committee커미티 shall섈 be비 composed컴포우즈드 of어^v브 the^ð더 president프^r레저덴트 and앤드 not낫 fewer^f퓨어 than^ð댄 25 and앤드 not낫 more모 than^ð댄 35 faculty^f패컬티 members멤버즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 Seoul소울 National내셔늘 University유너^v버서티 national내셔늘 university유너^v버서티 corporation,코퍼^r레이션 and앤드 specific스퍼시^f픽 matters매터즈 concerning컨서닝 its잇츠 composition캄퍼지션 shall섈 be비 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 the^ð디 articles아터클즈 of어^v브 incorporation.인코퍼^r레이션

③ 학사위원회에 위원장을 두며, 위원장은 총장이 겸임한다.

(3) The^ð디 academic애커데믹 affairs어^f페어즈 committee커미티 shall섈 have해^v브 a어 chairperson,체어퍼슨 who후 shall섈 be비 concurrently컨커^r런틀리 held헬드 by바이 the^ð더 president.프^r레저덴트

④ 학사위원회 위원의 임기는 2년으로 한다.

⑤ 학사위원회의 심의 결과는 총장에게 전달하고, 총장은 이사회의 의결이 필요한 사항 또는 중요하다고 판단하는 사항을 이사회에 회부하여야 한다.

⑥ 제1항부터 제5항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 학사위원회의 구성, 운영 및 심의에 필요한 사항은 정관으로 정한다.
