국가통합교통체계효율화법 제86조(지능형교통체계의 성능평가)

① 국토교통부장관은 지능형교통체계의 성능 및 신뢰도 등을 확보하기 위하여 관련 장비, 시스템, 서비스의 성능 및 신뢰도 등을 평가하는 기준(이하 "지능형교통체계성능평가기준"이라 한다)을 정하여 고시할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>

② 교통체계지능화사업시행자는 국토교통부장관이 제1항에 따라 지능형교통체계성능평가기준을 제정ㆍ고시한 경우에는 장비ㆍ시스템 및 서비스가 지능형교통체계성능평가기준에 적합한지를 확인(이하 "지능형교통체계성능평가"라 한다)하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

③ 교통체계지능화사업시행자는 지능형교통체계성능평가를 한 결과 구축ㆍ운영 중인 장비ㆍ시스템 및 서비스가 지능형교통체계성능평가기준에 미치지 못한 경우에는 보완 등 필요한 조치를 마련하여야 한다.

④ 국토교통부장관은 지능형교통체계성능평가에 관한 업무를 효율적으로 추진하기 위하여 전담기관(이하 "성능평가전담기관"이라 한다)을 지정ㆍ운영할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>

⑤ 교통체계지능화사업시행자는 제2항의 업무를 성능평가전담기관으로 하여금 수행하게 할 수 있다.

⑥ 지능형교통체계의 성능ㆍ신뢰도 평가에 관한 절차ㆍ방법, 성능평가전담기관과 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
