국가재정법 제76조(자산운용위원회)

① 기금관리주체는 자산운용에 관한 중요한 사항을 심의하기 위하여 다른 법률에서 따로 정하는 경우를 제외하고는 심의회에 자산운용위원회(이하 "자산운용위원회"라 한다)를 설치하여야 한다. 다만, 「외국환거래법」 제13조에 따른 외국환평형기금이나 기획예산처장관과 협의하여 자산운용위원회를 설치할 필요가 없다고 인정되는 기금의 경우에는 자산운용위원회를 설치하지 아니할 수 있다. <개정 2016.12.20, 2025.10.1>

②다음 각 호의 사항은 자산운용위원회의 심의를 거쳐야 한다.

③자산운용위원회의 위원장은 기금관리주체의 장이 기금의 여건 등을 고려하여 해당 기금관리주체 및 수탁기관의 임ㆍ직원 또는 공무원 중에서 선임한다. <개정 2020.6.9>

④자산운용위원회의 위원은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람 중에서 기금관리주체의 장이 선임 또는 위촉한다. 이 경우 제2호에 해당하는 위원의 정수는 전체위원 정수의 과반수가 되어야 한다. <개정 2020.6.9>

⑤그 밖에 자산운용위원회의 구성 및 운영 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
