초ㆍ중등교육법 시행령 제45조(수업일수)

① 법 제24조제4항에 따른 학교의 수업일수는 다음 각 호의 기준에 따라 학교의 장이 정한다. 다만, 학교의 장은 천재지변, 연구학교의 운영 또는 제105조에 따른 자율학교의 운영 등 교육과정의 운영상 필요한 경우에는 다음 각 호의 기준의 10분의 1의 범위에서 수업일수를 줄일 수 있으며, 이 경우 다음 학년도 개시 30일 전까지 관할청에 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2019.9.24, 2026.4.14>

② 초등학교ㆍ중학교ㆍ고등학교 및 특수학교의 장은 제1항제1호의 기준에 따라 수업일수를 정하려면 운영위원회의 심의를 거쳐야 한다. 다만, 「관공서의 공휴일에 관한 규정」 제2조제11호에 따른 공휴일(이하 "임시공휴일"이라 한다)이 지정된 것을 반영하여 수업일수를 다시 정하는 경우에는 운영위원회의 심의를 거치지 않을 수 있다. <개정 2019.9.24, 2022.3.22, 2026.4.14>
