① 제주4ㆍ3사건의 희생자 및 유족으로 결정받으려는 사람은 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 신고서에 해당 호에서 정하는 서류를 첨부하여 법 제6조제1항에 따른 제주4ㆍ3사건진상규명및희생자명예회복실무위원회(이하 "실무위원회"라 한다)에 제출해야 한다. <개정 2022.4.12>

③ 실무위원회는 제2항에 따른 신고기간이 시작되기 전에 제주특별자치도 조례로 정하는 바에 따라 신고장소 및 신고방법 등에 관한 사항을 공고해야 한다.

④ 제1항에 따른 신고를 받은 실무위원회는 「전자정부법」 제36조제1항에 따른 행정정보의 공동이용을 통해 희생자와의 관계를 확인할 수 있는 주민등록표 등본을 확인해야 한다. 다만, 신고인이 확인에 동의하지 않는 경우에는 해당 서류를 첨부하도록 해야 한다. <개정 2022.4.12>

⑤ 제1항에 따른 신고를 받은 실무위원회는 별지 제6호서식의 희생자 신고 접수대장에 이를 기재하고, 신고서 및 첨부서류의 기재 내용 등에 관한 사실조사를 실시한 후 의견을 첨부하여 위원회에 심의ㆍ의결을 요청해야 한다.
