전남광주통합특별시 설치를 위한 특별법 제48조(주민참여예산제의 확대 및 운영 특례)

① 통합특별시장은 「지방재정법」 제39조에 따른 주민참여예산제도를 운영할 때 통합으로 확충된 재원을 바탕으로 주민 제안 사업이 활발히 이루어질 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다.

② 통합특별시장은 주민자치회 등 주민 기구에서 제안한 사업이 지역 간 균형 발전에 기여한다고 판단되는 경우에는 이를 예산 편성 과정에 우선적으로 검토하여 반영할 수 있다.
