도로교통법 제52조(어린이통학버스의 신고 등)

① 어린이통학버스(「여객자동차 운수사업법」 제4조제3항에 따른 한정면허를 받아 어린이를 여객대상으로 하여 운행되는 운송사업용 자동차는 제외한다)를 운영하려는 자는 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 미리 관할 경찰서장에게 신고하고 신고증명서를 발급받아야 한다. <개정 2014.1.28, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

② 어린이통학버스를 운영하는 자는 어린이통학버스 안에 제1항에 따라 발급받은 신고증명서를 항상 갖추어 두어야 한다.

③ 어린이통학버스로 사용할 수 있는 자동차는 행정안전부령으로 정하는 자동차로 한정한다. 이 경우 그 자동차는 도색ㆍ표지, 보험가입, 소유 관계 등 대통령령으로 정하는 요건을 갖추어야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.1.28, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

④ 누구든지 제1항에 따른 신고를 하지 아니하거나 「여객자동차 운수사업법」 제4조제3항에 따라 어린이를 여객대상으로 하는 한정면허를 받지 아니하고 어린이통학버스와 비슷한 도색 및 표지를 하거나 이러한 도색 및 표지를 한 자동차를 운전하여서는 아니 된다. <개정 2014.1.28>
