도로교통법 제147조(위임 및 위탁 등)

① 시장등은 이 법에 따른 권한 또는 사무의 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 시ㆍ도경찰청장이나 경찰서장에게 위임 또는 위탁할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.22>

② 특별시장 및 광역시장은 이 법에 따른 권한의 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 관할구역의 구청장(자치구의 구청장을 말한다)과 군수에게 위임할 수 있다.

④ 시ㆍ도경찰청장 또는 경찰서장은 제1항에 따라 시장등으로부터 위임받거나 위탁받은 사무의 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 교통 관련 전문교육기관 또는 전문연구기관에 위탁할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.22>

⑤ 시ㆍ도경찰청장은 이 법에 따른 운전면허와 관련된 업무의 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 한국도로교통공단으로 하여금 대행 또는 위탁하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.22, 2023.10.24, 2024.1.30>

⑥ 경찰청장은 제106조와 제107조에 따른 강사 및 기능검정원에 대한 자격시험과 자격증 발급 업무를 한국도로교통공단으로 하여금 대행하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2024.1.30>
