국민연금법 제18조(군 복무기간에 대한 가입기간 추가 산입)

① 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 자가 노령연금 수급권을 취득한 때(이 조에 따라 가입기간이 추가 산입되면 노령연금 수급권을 취득할 수 있는 경우를 포함한다)에는 복무기간(12개월을 초과하면 12개월로 한다)을 가입기간에 추가로 산입한다. 다만, 「병역법」에 따른 병역의무를 수행한 기간이 6개월 미만인 경우에는 그러하지 아니한다. <개정 2009.6.9, 2013.6.4, 2016.5.29, 2025.4.2>

② 제1항에도 불구하고 「병역법」에 따른 병역의무를 수행한 기간의 전부 또는 일부가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 기간에 산입된 경우에는 제1항을 적용하지 아니한다. <개정 2016.5.29>

③ 제1항에 따라 가입기간을 추가로 산입하는데 필요한 재원은 국가가 전부를 부담한다.
