Environmental Impact Assessment Act, Article 5 (Setting of Environmental Conservation Goals)
환경영향평가등을 하려는 자는 다음 각 호의 기준, 계획 또는 사업의 성격, 토지이용 및 환경 현황, 계획 또는 사업이 환경에 미치는 영향의 정도, 평가 당시의 과학적ㆍ기술적 수준 및 경제적 상황 등을 고려하여 환경보전목표를 설정하고 이를 토대로 환경영향평가등을 실시하여야 한다. <개정 2017.1.17>
A person who intends to conduct environmental impact assessment, etc. shall set environmental conservation goals in consideration of the following standards, the nature of the plan or project, the status of land use and the environment, the degree of the plan's or project's impact on the environment, the scientific and technical level and economic conditions at the time of assessment, etc., and conduct environmental impact assessment, etc. on that basis:
1. Environmental standards under Article 12 of the Framework Act on Environmental Policy;
2. 「자연환경보전법」 제2조제14호에 따른 생태ㆍ자연도(生態ㆍ自然圖)
2. Ecological and natural maps under Article 2 14 of the Natural Environment Conservation Act;
3. 「대기환경보전법」, 「물환경보전법」 등에 따른 지역별 오염총량기준
3. Total pollutant load standards by region under the Clean Air Conservation Act, the Water Environment Conservation Act, etc.; and
4. 그 밖에 관계 법률에서 환경보전을 위하여 설정한 기준
