환경영향평가법 제1조(목적)

이 법은 환경에 영향을 미치는 계획 또는 사업을 수립ㆍ시행할 때에 해당 계획과 사업이 환경에 미치는 영향을 미리 예측ㆍ평가하고 환경보전방안 등을 마련하도록 하여 친환경적이고 지속가능한 발전과 건강하고 쾌적한 국민생활을 도모함을 목적으로 한다.
