해상교통안전법 제74조(좁은 수로 등)

① 좁은 수로나 항로(이하 "좁은 수로등"이라 한다)를 따라 항행하는 선박은 항행의 안전을 고려하여 될 수 있으면 좁은 수로등의 오른편 끝 쪽에서 항행하여야 한다. 다만, 제30조제1항에 따라 지정된 수역 또는 제75조제1항에 따른 통항분리수역에서는 그 수역에서 정해진 항법이 있다면 이에 따라야 한다.

② 길이 20미터 미만의 선박이나 범선은 좁은 수로등의 안쪽에서만 안전하게 항행할 수 있는 다른 선박의 통행을 방해하여서는 아니 된다.

③ 어로에 종사하고 있는 선박은 좁은 수로등의 안쪽에서 항행하고 있는 다른 선박의 통항을 방해하여서는 아니 된다.

④ 선박이 좁은 수로등의 안쪽에서만 안전하게 항행할 수 있는 다른 선박의 통항을 방해하게 되는 경우에는 좁은 수로등을 횡단하여서는 아니 된다. 이 경우 통항을 방해받게 되는 선박은 횡단하고 있는 선박의 의도에 대하여 의심이 있는 경우에는 제99조제5항에 따른 음향신호를 울릴 수 있다.

⑤ 제78조제2항 및 제3항에 따른 앞지르기 하는 배는 좁은 수로등에서 앞지르기당하는 선박이 앞지르기 하는 배를 안전하게 통과시키기 위한 동작을 취하지 아니하면 앞지르기 할 수 없는 경우에는 기적신호를 하여 앞지르기 하겠다는 의사를 나타내야 한다. 이 경우 앞지르기당하는 선박은 그 의도에 동의하면 기적신호를 하여 그 의사를 표현하고, 앞지르기 하는 배를 안전하게 통과시키기 위한 동작을 취하여야 한다.

⑥ 선박이 좁은 수로등의 굽은 부분이나 항로에 있는 장애물 때문에 다른 선박을 볼 수 없는 수역에 접근하는 경우에는 특히 주의하여 항행하여야 한다.

⑦ 선박은 좁은 수로등에서 정박(정박 중인 선박에 매어 있는 것을 포함한다)을 하여서는 아니 된다. 다만, 해양사고를 피하거나 인명이나 그 밖의 선박을 구조하기 위하여 부득이하다고 인정되는 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.
