해상교통안전법 제38조(정선 등)

① 해양경찰서장은 이 법 또는 이 법에 따른 명령을 위반하였거나 위반한 혐의가 있는 사람이 승선하고 있는 선박에 대하여 정선(停船)하거나 회항(回航)할 것을 명할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따른 정선명령이나 회항명령은 대통령령으로 정하는 방법으로 그 선박에서 항해당직을 수행하고 있는 사람에게 알려야 한다.
