한국국방연구원법 제17조(업무협조)

① 원장은 연구원의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정하면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 관계 기관의 장에게 소속 군인이나 그 밖의 국방부 소속 공무원으로 하여금 연구원의 업무를 지원하게 할 것을 요청할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 요청을 받은 관계 기관의 장은 정당한 사유가 없으면 그 요청을 거부하지 못한다.

③ 제1항에 따른 요청에 의하여 연구원에 근무하게 되는 사람은 원장의 지휘ㆍ감독을 받으며, 연구원은 이들에게 해당 직책에 상응하는 수당을 지급한다.
