한국과학기술원법 제6조(임원)

① 과학기술원에 이사장 및 총장 각 1명을 포함한 20명 이내의 이사와 1명의 감사를 두며, 그 임기는 정관으로 정한다. <개정 2009.2.6>

② 이사 및 감사는 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 이사회에서 선임(選任)하되, 과학기술정보통신부장관의 승인을 받아야 한다. <개정 2009.2.6, 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>

(2) Directors더^r렉터즈 and앤드 the^ð디 auditor오디터 shall섈 be비 elected일렉티드 by바이 the^ð더 board보드 of어^v브 directors더^r렉터즈 as애즈 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 the^ð디 articles아터클즈 of어^v브 incorporation,인코퍼^r레이션 and앤드 approval어프^r루^v블 of어^v브 the^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Science사이언스 and앤드 ICT아이크트 shall섈 be비 obtained.어브테인드

③ 과학기술정보통신부장관은 제2항에 따른 이사 및 감사의 선임을 승인하려면 미리 교육부장관의 동의를 받아야 한다. <신설 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>

④ 이사장은 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 이사 중에서 선임한다. <개정 2009.2.6>

⑤ 이사장은 과학기술원의 총장을 겸할 수 없다. <개정 2009.2.6>

⑥ 총장 또는 감사가 아닌 임원은 비상근으로 한다. <개정 2009.2.6>
