한국과학기술원법 제14조의3(과학영재학교의 설치ㆍ운영)

① 과학기술원은 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 국가 차원의 선도적 과학영재를 교육하고 연구기능을 강화하기 위하여 과학적 능력이 뛰어난 영재를 대상으로 각 개인의 능력과 소질에 맞는 교육을 하는 고등학교 과정 이하의 학교(이하 "과학영재학교"라 한다)를 둘 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 과학기술원에 두는 과학영재학교는 「영재교육진흥법」에 따른 영재학교로 본다.

(2) A어 science-gifted사이언스-기^f프티드 school스쿨 established이스태블리시트 in인 KAIST케이이스트 under언더 paragraph패^r러그^r래^f프 (1) is이즈 deemed딤드 a어 gifted기^f프티드 school스쿨 under언더 the^ð디 Act액트 on안 the^ð더 Promotion프^r러모우션 of어^v브 Education에저케이션 for^f포 the^ð더 Gifted.기^f프티드

③ 과학영재학교의 학사ㆍ교원 및 운영에 대하여는 이 법에서 정한 경우를 제외하고는 「영재교육진흥법」을 따르고 「초ㆍ중등교육법」을 적용하지 아니한다.

④ 총장은 과학영재학교를 지휘ㆍ감독한다.

(4) The^ð더 president프^r레저덴트 shall섈 direct더^r렉트 and앤드 supervise수퍼^v바이즈 science-gifted사이언스-기^f프티드 schools.스쿨즈
