택지개발촉진법 제4조(택지개발지구의 기초조사)

① 지정권자가 제3조에 따라 택지개발지구를 지정하려는 경우에는 미리 택지개발지구로 지정할 토지, 건축물, 그 밖에 택지개발지구 지정에 필요한 사항에 관하여 조사하여야 한다.

② 지정권자는 제1항의 경우 필요하다고 인정할 때에는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ자치구의 구청장(특별자치도지사의 경우에는 제외한다) 또는 제7조에 따른 택지개발사업 시행자에게 조사를 명할 수 있다.

③ 제7조제1항제1호부터 제4호까지의 규정 중 어느 하나에 해당하는 자는 제3조의2에 따라 택지개발지구의 지정을 제안하려는 경우에는 제1항에 따른 조사를 할 수 있다.
