Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Article 58 (Composition of Steering Committees of National and Public Schools)

① 운영위원회 중 국립ㆍ공립의 초등학교ㆍ중학교ㆍ고등학교ㆍ특수학교 및 각종학교(이하 제62조까지 "국ㆍ공립학교"라 한다)에 두는 운영위원회 위원의 정수는 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 범위에서 학교의 규모 등을 고려하여 해당 학교의 학교운영위원회규정(이하 이 절에서 "위원회규정"이라 한다)으로 정한다. <개정 2025.9.30>

2. 학생 수가 200명 이상 1천명 미만인 학교: 9명 이상 12명 이하

3. 학생 수가 1천명 이상인 학교: 13명 이상 15명 이하

②국ㆍ공립학교에 두는 운영위원회 위원의 구성비율은 다음 각호의 구분에 의한 범위내에서 위원회규정으로 정한다. <개정 2011.3.18>

③제2항의 규정에 불구하고 국립ㆍ공립의 제90조제1항제10호의 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교 및 제91조제1항에 따른 특성화고등학교(자연현장실습 등 체험위주의 교육을 전문으로 실시하는 고등학교는 제외한다) 운영위원회 위원의 구성비율은 다음 각호의 구분에 의한 범위내에서 위원회규정으로 정할 수 있다. 이 경우 지역위원중 2분의 1이상은 제2항제3호의 규정에 의한 사업자로 선출하여야 한다. <개정 2007.4.12, 2010.6.29>

④ 제2항 및 제3항에도 불구하고 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 국ㆍ공립학교에 두는 운영위원회 위원의 구성비율은 국립학교의 경우에는 학칙으로, 공립학교의 경우에는 시ㆍ도의 조례로 정하는 범위에서 위원회규정으로 달리 정할 수 있다. 이 경우 학부모위원, 교원위원 및 지역위원은 각각 1명 이상 포함되어야 한다. <신설 2011.3.18, 2023.4.11>
